She
sat down infront of the huge pile of her old copies. This job of hers had been
due for long. That night her mother had given her the last warning to clear the
mess. One by one she seperated the copies in different lots, until she caught
sight of a particular copy. She instantly recognised it, rubbed off the dust
that had piled upon it, got up and sat down comfortably on her bed. She flipped
through the pages and quickly got to the page she wanted to. She had done that
many a times in the past and it did not seem out of practice even after days.
As
she stared down at the page, her eyes taking in a few words from here and
there, a smile appeared on her face. She sat down more comfortably and started
reading the essay which she had written long back, but still was the closest to
her heart. After reading it, she flipped a few more pages, to read a few more
lines she had written in the past. She closed the copy with a sigh and started
recollecting those days when she was praised for her writing skills, she
recollected how happy she was coz of it.
She took a pen and paper, thought of creating something spectacular with her words yet again. She tried to choose a topic. Nothing clicked. Then came the thought of writing something randomly. Again...nothing. She tried hard to come up with something...scribbling words and striking them off immediately. She tried a few more times, without success. She started panicking. She thought she had lost her talent of writing. She hadn't written anything in the last two years except answers to questionnaires. She crumbled the paper and threw it away in anger, a few drops of tears rolling down her cheeks, blaming the course she had chosen for ruining her talent.
Now-a-days
students are so much study oriented and career oriented that they do not get
time to do things they are good at. They become so much out of practice that
they tend to loose their talent in it. After some time, they start blaming and
hating the line they had chosen for themselves and eventually get more and more
tired and frustrated with life. They live lives just for the sake of doing so
and....happiness??? Ummm! Well that just becomes a distant word in their life.
Is
this pressure really worth it? Is the sacrifice meaningful? Is today's studious
generation destined to move around like zombies in the forth coming years and
nothing more than that?
u never loose ur talent...just like zombies never come back to life... super example ur up nd blogging... so nope no zombies:P
